What the Charity does

Farnham Sinfonia (CIO) is a registered non-profit-making Charity (No.1197475). It supports music and musicians living in Farnham and the surrounding areas in Surrey and Hampshire. Its Board of Directors comprises unpaid volunteers with a depth of commercial and/or voluntary sector experience.

We are extremely grateful to our commercial and private sponsors. Without their support, we would not be able to bring the high performance standards of a professional orchestra to Farnham.

Sponsorship also provides fundamental financial stability to the Sinfonia. The generosity of its sponsors allows us to plan for the future and directly supports our popular Summer Concert, usually held in June each year. As a thank you to our sponsors, they are invited to two private recitals and receptions each year to meet and interact with the musicians, and to hear about our future activities.

To show our gratitude, the names of commercial sponsors are shown on all concert programmes and promotional literature, unless anonymity is preferred. A list of regular private sponsors is shown on the back of our printed programmes, again unless anonymity is requested.

If your company or organisation would like to become a commercial sponsor please contact our Treasurer, Roy Waight, or our Secretary, Diana Martin by emailing  farnhamsinfonia2022@gmail.com
